18:30 - 20:00Recently a new partnership between Hounslow FoodBox, a charity which provides an invaluable lifeline to struggling families, and the Chiswick allotments team has been formed. The idea is that an overgrown space at the allotments will be used to grow vegetables which will then be donated to Hounslow Foodbox so that local people have access to fresh, healthy, organic fruit and veg, no matter their circumstances.
They need help getting the plot ready for planting, so we're going along to help them do just that! Expect a great workout turning soil, weeding, and generally making a positive impact!
We'll follow the session with an optional group workout.
