Who this task will support
Makespace Oxford
Twenty social enterprises, workers cooperatives, small charities and creative individuals are work from Makespace Oxford. The building is a catalyst, a question and a demand to make space for sustainability, creativity and community. It’s also a vibrant hub for community action, a place where new partnerships begin and ideas come to life.

The Task: Makespace Oxford is an affordable working and making space offering subsidised rents to social enterprises, charities and workers cooperatives working on social and environmental justice issues.

Makespace's outdoor areas have got overgrown and could do with some tidying up. We will be weeding, raking up leaves, cutting the grass, and generally trying to get the outdoor space back under control. This will help support the community of non-profits in the building to feel taken care of and to support the local community in feeling pride in supporting the site.

Please bring your own gardening gloves. If you have small hand tools you can safely bring please bring them (trowels, secateurs etc) but don't worry if you don't as there will be some tools provided.

Meeting points: * If you would like to join a 10-15 minute run to the task meet outside the Ashmolean Museum main entrance at 6pm.
* If you would prefer to meet us at the task please be at Makespace Oxford, Aristotle Lane, OX2 6TP at 6:15pm.
