Sorting Christmas gifts into age groups for Growbaby 🎅🎄🎁

On no doubt what will be the hottest day of the year, we have been asked to organise a small proportion of Christmas gifts for Growbaby! What a topsy-turvy world we live in. Every year we assist with their Christmas gift-giving in December and help with the large amount of donations that need to be sorted, selected and put into bags. 2000 gifts in total - fortunately we won't be organizing the full amount but there's still lots to do!

This task will help put us in a better position for this year's event as these gifts are either left over from last year or have been donated in preparation for the year to come. We have been asked to sort them into age categories ie 1-2 years, 2-3 years etc, so when the van comes to collect and drop them off at the venue in December they won't need to be sorted which will save volunteers hours of time.

The storage room that the toys are currently in is quite full - they will be having a sort out soon - so we will either sort in the room if there's space or they can be taken down to the car park and sorted there. The toys will need to be boxed into age group and labelled carefully so it's obvious what's in the box!

This is a great task and will be very satisfying to do and all the hard work will pay off in the future. Please be careful picking up boxes and make sure you bend your knees lifting anything heavy. Sign up if you can!
