A local society devoted to assisting those with learning disability, and also their families who are often put under a great strain in coping with the resulting problems.

#WednesdayNightisGoodGym night, and this evening we are running or walking to help at Highview House, the home of the Mencap Society in Maidenhead. Maidenhead Mencap is a local society set up in the 1960s to support children and adults with learning disabilities in the Maidenhead area, and their carers and families.

This is a community mission meeting at the task at 7pm HOWEVER please check out the "Getting there" options listed above, as some members will be running/walking to get there and it would be wonderful to team up to reach the task together.

We encouarage active travel to get to the task - running, walking or cycling. All fitness levels are welcome at GoodGym.

At Highview House there will be plenty to do and we will be mostly sanding and painting benches in order to prepare for visitors to enjoy sitting outside during the Summer. Please bring clothes you are prepared to get dirty and gloves if you have a pair.

GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
