URBAN GreenUP is a EU-funded project which aims at developing, applying and validating a methodology for Renaturing Urban Plans to mitigate the effects of climate change, improve air quality and water management and increase the sustainability of our cities through innovative nature-based solutions.

This week we have changed the evening to a Tuesday evening and we will be meeting directly at the task at the earlier time of 18:00 (6pm) to help out at one of our regular locations at the Park Lane site the multi award winning Urban Green Up project https://w3w.co/twice.letter.kings. We are being joined by a local Cub Scout group who are working towards their environmental awards. The details of the task will be provided on the night but it will be to assist in maintaining this green space and full directions will be given on the evening (we always work to our own comfort levels and there is always lots of choice to ensure that there is something for everyone). In partnership we will be able to have a big input in just one hour as well as learning more about the environmental aspects of the project
