A great task referral from a local school and they like what we do so let's get ready to get stuck in! They have an old caretaker cottage that is no longer occupied and whilst they are sorting out the next steps for the building they have asked us to get rid of broken items and to keep the passages and patio clear.

There are lots of broken items in the garden especially in the greenhouse - flowerpots, machinery and old hanging baskets. They have hired a skip so we can throw all these things away. Flowerpots in good condition can be kept for the school’s gardening club. They would like the leaves cleared from patio and the passageways cleared from overhanging branches and overgrown bushes as it’s becoming a hazard. Let’s see what we can do!

This is a great beginner task where we can show how gardening keeps you fit and the advantage of people power to get heavy tasks done as a group.

Meet at the Quaker Centre for 6.30pm for a 2.5km run there (and then back afterwards) or at St Paul’s School, Princes Road, KT2 6AZ at 7pm.

Gloves will be needed, see you then.

We can arrange a walking group so please let us know if you want to walk instead of running or cycling. This is a great starter session for newcomers so please come along and see what GoodGym is all about.
