The weather was certainly a lot warmer this week and we took full advantage of it. So a slight change of plan due to our original task having a social event to attend we decided to spread the news for Woking Hospice and promote their charity places for the Weybridge 10km and Surrey Half Marathon. George was a little disappointed after getting out his shorts ready for some painting, but that didn’t stop him. So with legs out and our head torches on we set off with over 300 flyers in our hands.
We got to work quickly and managed to work well as a team and were busy posting flyers through many homes around the woking town area.
This weekend is the Surrey Half event which sets off from Woking leisure centre. With Barbara and George both taking part, this was a great chance for them to stretch out their legs. Everyone had a great time and managing to complete 7km around Woking, we learnt what everyone’s plans were over the weekend, and would like to wish everyone who is taking part in the Surrey Half a big Good Luck, we shall hopefully see you at the finish line.
