We had a great time on Sunday running to our local Friends of the Earth project spot where we're helping them with a spot of urban greening.

This week we started on a new area, and as you can see had great fun seeing who raise the biggest unbroken slab of tarmac using our hammers and crowbars. We've won the thanks of local residents after already completing one area, and shaming the council in spending a little money to improve the rest of the recreation area. Great to see people working hard, with Francis and Rachel making the most of their competitive streak and Chris who joined us for the first time showing off his masses of energy.

We'll be back there again next week, but this time planting vegetables in the area we've already cleared of tarmac, and all being well leafleting local houses to let them know about our newest incredible edible project and to ask for their help. Do join us!
