Patrick, Beth and Tierney pruned, swept and dodged the midgees at Anne's garden in Camden on Saturday morning. Outside lovely Anne's beautiful house we swept away autumn leaves and had a go at pruning back trees with her ingenious handbag chainsaw. We even apparently guilt tripped her neighbour into weeding his garden too!

Patrick ran miles from east London, whereas Beth and Tierney didn't run so far, but the sweeping of leaves provided a pretty good workout, and Anne was pleased with a good job done. A surprising number of bags were filled with leaves and twigs after an hour and a bit of sweeping, snapping, chatting and raking. Excellent start to the weekend!
