A great evening this evening with Good Gym, running along the Mersey to a small unadopted road on Jerico Lane near Otterspool to cut-back ivy and branches, litter pick and rake out leaves.

Running in the evening in the coast air is fantastic, and refreshing, and we all had a great time - the only groan being when I suggested a second 'one minute warm-up' before we set back off at 7:25. The runners took an exploratory route down a foresty path, and (we discovered) dead end, finishing by the river and we were back home by 7:50. Kirsty who's been joining us recently wrote:

The run this evening was so much fun with some great people. I am so chuffed that I kept up and managed to run the whole way. The gardening work in the middle was short, energetic and satisfying. And we finished with a quick look at the river Mersey. What more could you ask for! Kirsty (a very new runner!)

From next week we're moving to Tuesday to better accommodate those running - we hope that it make sit easier for you to join us too!
