"A job well done" by two GoodGymers

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person.

Following a couple of PBs at the Mile End park run, James for the 5K and me for the number of photos taken in a 30 minute period, we set of to pay Mrs Turnbull her third Goodgym visit. James fulfilled the same role that he does in Lambeth each week, Director of Directions, and navigated us through the unfamiliar east London streets with ease.

All the chopping that had gone on during previous visits had resulted in big sacks of branches that needed to be moved into the front garden for collection. They had been filled to the brim but were too large to fit through the back door so James and I emptied each sack into smaller batches and carried them through to the front. The change might not have been quite as dramatic as the previous two visits but with eight sacks filling up the front garden when we were finished we left feeling like it was a job well done.
