Help out your local parkrun at the Knavesmire on Saturday morning.

No experience is necessary and you’ll be given full support - whether you’ve volunteered before or not you’ll be very welcome.

Roles include finish tokens (good for the dexterous), timekeeper (need a smartphone and fast fingers), funnel manager (great for the bossy and schoolteacherly), marshal (most clapping and giving encouragement), barcode scanning (also needs a smartphone) and we also need tailwalkers (good for the injured). We also have some running roles such as pacers but aim to fill all the above essential roles first.

You can check out the roster here 👉 https://www.parkrun.org.uk/york/futureroster/

See which roles are available and message the run director at york@parkrun.com or else send me a message at nickg@goodgym.org and don’t forget to also sign up to the community mission on here.
