Woking Biodiversity Laurel Removal at St John's Lye
Removing invasive species is an important step in promoting regeneration of our natural environment

10:00 - 13:00Removing laurel from the area using a combination of loppers, hand saws and tree poppers. Removing stumps using mattocks. Stacking the arisings in a dead hedge to minimise the impact and chances of regrowth.
This local charity has requested our support with this project. They will provide all the equipment, but they would appreciate it if we could bring our gardening gloves.
Please make your way to the meeting point at 10 am, There will be a group run setting off from 'Woking Wharf' - By the Brewery Rd car park, canal side.
If you are not able to attend for the whole session, please indicate below the times you will be able to assist with this mission so Charlie can ensure he brings enough equipment for everyone. Sign up by 16 February, please so I can confirm the numbers.
