Volunteer Support for the Derby Santa Run - 8 December 2024

The runners are fundraising to support 9 local charities. Volunteers ensure our participants are able to enjoy their experience whilst fundraising.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks at the Derby Santa Run this year:- Event Village Set up - Setting in Marquees / tables Registration - supporting runners when they arrive Marshalling - on the route around Markeaton Event Village Set Down Route Sweep and Litter Pick - also removing signs from the route Different volunteering roles have different start and end times, with some as little as 2 hours commitment. Free hot drinks are available for volunteers and we will re-imburse parking charges on request. More information on the event is available at www.thederbysantarun.co.uk The event is supporting the following local charities:- Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity, Me&Dee, Safe and Sound, YMCA Derbyshire, Rebuild East Midlands, Friends of the Baby Unit, Derbyshire Cricket Foundation, Love4Life, Umbrella

The Derby Santa Run is looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks:-

Event Village Set up - Setting in Marquees / tables

Registration - supporting runners when they arrive

Marshalling - on the route around Markeaton

Event Village Set Down

Route Sweep and Litter Pick - also removing signs from the route

Different volunteering roles have different start and end times, with some as little as 2 hours commitment. After signing up for the task, please indicate your availability in the comments below, so we can let the organisers know.

Free hot drinks are available for volunteers and we will re-imburse parking charges on request.

GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
