Date and time
08:45 - 09:20Come and support a great junior parkrun in Sunderland! Nearest parking right next to Mowbray Park is on Burdon Road and Toward Road. Free parking slightly further away on Laura Street. The start/finish area is short walk from Sunderland train and Metro station, a little further from Park Lane Metro station and Sunderland Interchange. Meet at the John Candlish statue in the centre of Mowbray Park around 8:45am.
GoodGym is not affiliated with parkrun, so you must email the event team or leave a comment on one of their volunteer request Facebook posts to volunteer, choosing a role from the roster for the 9th February (take a look here: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/mowbraypark-juniors/futureroster/ ). The email address is mowbrayparkjuniors@parkrun.com and the Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/mowbrayparkjuniorparkrun . You can also put a comment in the GoodGym Newcastle WhatsApp group to request to volunteer if it is easier, which will be picked up by the community mission leader.
Volunteering at junior parkrun is easy, fun and doesn't take long. It's a great start to a Sunday! Come and help the event continue to flourish! Join most of the volunteers afterwards for a hot drink and breakfast in Greggs on Fawcett Street.
