Planet Food YorkPlanet Food provides a weekly (Thursday) pay as you can cafe to reduce isolation in the community. As a zero waste organisation it also provides surplus food for people to take, again paying as they can. Rosie has requested help stacking away plastic chairs, taking down and stacking trestle tables, folding cardboard boxes for recycling, putting away blackboard noticeboards & banner, moving stack of plastic crates and sweeping the floor.
This task involves moving and handling activities.

Please note that we don’t always have a Taskforce member to take a lead on this session from a GoodGym perspective. However, Rosie or Jess from Planet Food will give you clear instructions. If you can sign up at least 24 hours in advance it allows them to see if they need to find other volunteers to help. Please do reply to the automatic registration email, confirming you have attended as there isn't always a task force member there.
