This summer St Paul's are hosting their second Love Daybrook Community Action Day, which is open to all to get stuck in and make a difference to those who live in the area.

Volunteers will meet at St Paul's Church, Daybrook at 9:30am for a briefing to get a Love Daybrook t-shirt and then head out for around 3 hours. Everyone will then reconvene at St Paul's for a catered lunch around 1pm and to hear how the projects have been going and aim to finish around 2:30pm.

You will need to sign up for a project on the event website as each team has a limited number.

The teams are:

  • Singing with local senior residents

  • Football, face painting and dance on the park*

  • Clearing and tidying up a public area

  • Eco themed art and creating an Eco garden

  • Serving lunch and hot drinks afterwards

Some projects are weather dependant. *DBS required for adults helping with this project for children.

All under 18s will need to be on the same team as an adult who can take responsibility for them and supervise them at all times.

Volunteers will need to agree to a safeguarding agreement, which ensures the safety of the teams and those we are helping. You can read this here: www.stpaulsdaybrook.co.uk/lovedaybrook.

If you need further information please contact Jo Jones, Kids and Youth leader, 07386721770 or kidsandyouth@stpaulsdaybrook.co.uk. For safeguarding concerns please contact Jennie Dendy safeguarding@stpaulsdaybrook.co.uk.

To sign up, you will need to register on the event website AND sign up on this page so that you gain your GoodGym credit.

If you have any questions or cannot make it on the day, please contact the organisers directly.

There may not be a TaskForce member at this session. If any GoodGym volunteers attending want to take some photos and write a report that would be appreciated.
