We are a local network of volunteers initially formed in response to the COVID-19 crisis and now permanent across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston. We aim to help those in our local community to fight poverty and offer support. We provide food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances. We also offer laptops through our Keep Kids Connected initiative for children who do not have access to online learning.

We have teamed up with Dons Local Action Group (DLAG) to help at Morrisons in Wimbledon with the collection of food donations. Whilst manning the donations table we will be handing out leaflets and chatting to shoppers to spread the word about Goodgym Merton. Come along for all or part of the session and meet other members of Goodgym.

Do wear your Goodgym t.shirt (if you have one) and we recommend layering up (as we will be outside). If you haven't tried a Goodgym session before this would be a great first task with an opportunity to chat to other likeminded people and find out more about volunteering adhoc in the community.

If you can't make the whole session but can stop by for a short time please just let us know in the comments or via the Goodgym Merton Whatsapp group as all help would be greatly appreciated.
