18:30 - 20:30Let's give our community some love and help Growbaby. It's an amazing hub that supports families that are in need of baby equipment and clothes age 0-5 years old. They have lots of donations and need lots of hands to organise and manage the baby equipment. If you want to get stuck to a task then this is a good one as there's always lots to do.
We have been asked to do some general sorting so it could be anything from re-organising the toy boxes (and getting rid of random plastic bits that don't belong), sorting clothes or checking the shoes are paired and in the right boxes.
Lots of items have come in and they have been short on time to inspect, sort and order the donations so things can easily pile up. It's tricky for their daytime volunteers as they are busy attending to the families in need so things can get messy quite quickly as there's not a lot of spare room.
We will meet at the Quaker Centre at 6.30pm and run 3km there and 2km run back. We'll be at Growbaby for 7pm - the address for Growbaby is The Hub, 38 Surbiton Road, KT1 2JR.
