The Arkwright Meadows Community Gardens need some help removing some brambles on Saturday 29th March 2025.

Brambles have their place but sometimes they're just in the wrong place! The brambles are encroaching into the garden's family area where they could be hazardous to toddlers so it would be great to get rid of them and replace them with something equally wildlife-friendly but also more child-friendly.

The task will take place from 11am to 1pm.

Please bring gardening gloves if you have some and wear bramble-proof clothing and footwear (long sleeves and log trousers). You will be provided with tools, goggles and gloves if you don't have your own.

There may not be a member of GoodGym TaskForce at this session. You will be met by someone from the AMC Gardens who will be overseeing the task.

If you have any questions, please email goodgymnottingham@gmail.com.
