Penrose Roots to Recovery

This week we'll have a good upper body workout in the middle of an easy run, starting at The Galaxy centre for a 2km run to the Penrose garden. This session is also walkable if you're not a runner!

The Penrose Roots to Recovery team has received a delivery of railway sleepers that will be used to create raised beds for planting up in the spring. Our task this evening will be to saw these sleepers to the right length to build beds the right size. I suspect we'll be invited back to fill them with topsoil once they are completed too!

Once the task is completed we'll head back into town together for a cool-down.

Walkable

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.

Options are available to run between 4km and 4km in total

Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
