Provide a welcoming space for recent care leavers over Christmas

Since 2013, Christmas Dinners have been hosted by the Gold from the Stone Foundation to provide a safe space and sense of community for recent care leavers, who may otherwise not have a place to go for the festive period. They also get a cracking blanket from Quilts for care leavers. There is a video from 2023 of the event. Last year we had a couple of helpers for the set-up and I'm in contact to help out again.

The dinner itself takes place on Christmas Day, with the option to host a care leaver or to help out on the day. There is also the option to help out with preparation on Sunday 22nd December, 10:00-14:00 with most activity being before midday with the possibility of snacks and refreshments while helping, so stay for as long as you can.
