Parkwood Springs is an amazing natural 'wild' space close to the centre of the city of Sheffield. There is woodland and heath, open parkland, and a range of natural habitats where wild lupins bloom, kestrels hover, and deer have been seen again. There are spectacular views over the city centre, the suburbs and the distant moors of the Peak District.

Come and help make magic happen for this spectacular once-a-year lantern procession.

There are 3 tasks we can get our hands into:

  1. During the afternoon, help is needed to set out lanterns in glades in the woods.
  2. When the procession starts help is needed with marshalling.
  3. After the procession the site needs to be tidied up.

Help with ANY or ALL of these aspects will be much appreciated by Friends of Parkwood springs.

Best views over the city guaranteed!

How are you getting there?
