Merton CouncilWhite Ribbon UK is the leading charity in England and Wales engaging men and boys to prevent men’s violence against women and girls. On White Ribbon Day, 25th November, people around the world stand up against violence against women and girls.
The White Ribbon Walk is the start of the 16 days of activism of gender-based violence and runs through to the 10 December. The event will start at 11am with raising the White Ribbon Flag outside the civic offices in Morden (SM4 5DX) and then there is the walk starting at 11.30am from the Green Gates at Morden Hall Park (SM4 5JD).
Those on the walk will be offered to come to the stable yard (see photo) for drinks and to network - GoodGym volunteers will be helping to serve these and hand out leaflets to members of the public. Please ask for Dawn or Zoe when you arrive, if you can't see one of the GoodGym team already there.
Note: You are welcome to join the walk beforehand, please just meet at the start location (see poster for details) and then come along to the stable yard to help with refreshments.
