Wildcat WildernessWildcat Wilderness needs help to restore the woodland near Bellingham. They are extending their wonderful community space into the woodland area, which hasn’t been touched in decades. But the woodland needs our help. It is overgrown, so the trees need releasing from ivy and bramble and spaces and rubbish cleared so they can use this as a community space. This will benefit nature and people.
All welcome as there is something for everyone to get involved in. Bring some gloves if you have them, all tools provided. Bring drinks/ water and wear outdoor clothes.
In this space they are developing a ‘Woodland for Wellbeing’ project to provide support for adults and children to help recovery from mental health problems, and help prevent the development of mental health issues, by working with nature. This is a Lewisham Local charity project supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
All welcome, drop in anytime!
