Who this task will support
Merton's Community Fridge
Sustainable Merton is proud to bring to you Merton’s Community Fridge, which aims to redistribute to the Merton community surplus food from local businesses and food growers, ultimately stopping tonnes of good quality food from going to waste.

We will be supporting the team at Sustainable Merton and Merton's Community Fridge to clear the space at the side of Morden Baptist church following funds received and agreement to build an e-bike shed which will improve the collection of food for the distribution sessions.

This is going to take a bit of Goodgym-power and will be a great way to fight off the January Blues and upcoming Blue Monday so we hope to get as many of the Goodgym Merton team and surrounding areas Goodgym members along to help.

In January we are hoping to officially launch Goodgym Merton and encourage others to get involved with a little promotion so make sure you wear your Goodgym T.shirt if you have one or sign up and get one in time for the event and join this great local community led area during the January challenge: https://www.goodgym.org/v3/areas/merton

Bring gardening gloves if you have them and we recommend wearing layers as it can get warm quickly when we get stuck into a physical task!

Please come to the back entrance door which is accessible from the car park at the rear of the church (entrance on Grasmere Avenue). On arrival ask for Siobhan.

How are you getting there?
