Heart clean, Sound Bath & a drink

We'll meet at the earlier time of 5.45pm at Heart, do a quick clean of the nursery space for around 15 minutes & then Heart have kindly let us use the space for a sound bath at 6.05pm. If you can't be on time for the clean, then please do be on time for the sound bath as we can't really have interruptions as it affects the flow of the session.

Laura is training to be a sound bath practitioner, so you are going to be her guinea pigs once again! You don't have to do anything, Laura will do all the work. All you have to do is lie back & enjoy some gentle sound meditation for around 40 minutes. You can lay or sit for this, please wear something warm & bring a blanket to cover yourself with. If you have a yoga mat, please bring it along with a cushion for your head. For those that don't, we can use the mats in the nursery.

Sound baths have a range of mental, physical & emotional benefits. The vibrations in the sound waves can help you deeply relax or have an altered state of consciousness, similar to meditation. Phones will need to be switched off for the sound bath.

Please also note the following: sound baths are not recommended in the first 3 months of pregnancy, or if you have conditions such as epilepsy, seizures, severe heart conditions or unmanaged mental health conditions.

After all of this, we'll go into the bar for a drink.

I realise that sound baths are not for everyone so if you don't fancy it, feel free to just meet us at 7pm in the Heart bar for a drink.
