Haymill Nature Reserve Support

Date and time
10:00 - 13:00This session is our monthly collaboration with the Friends of Haymill Nature Reserve and Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.
Weather looks to be ok currently but please come prepared with layers, stout footwear and tough gloves.
The principal task will be to install protection for the hazel stools we have created over the last couple of months to stop marauding deer from eating the new shoots which would be a shame considering the work that has been put into creating the new stools in the first place.
Last time out we prepared piles of stakes and binders plus filling material so we should be able to set straight to work without disturbing any wildlife too much.
There's also the usual litter picking to be completed.
Tea and coffee will be provided as usual.
The meeting point will as usual be outside no1 Littlebrook Avenue at 10am . For anyone new to this group we will be stopping for a tea break around 11.30 - all necessaries being supplied and we finish just before 1pm.
If you can't be there for the whole 3 hours that's not a problem - stay as long as you can.
We meet by the reserve entrance near No 1 Littlebrook Ave SL2 2NW at 10am and have a tea break at 11.30
