As part of the Great Manchester Walking Festival, I have proposed to cover the Manchester Green Trail Stage 14 from Fletcher Moss park to Chapel Street Park. The route is approximately 6.5 miles covering some of the wonderful green spaces in South Manchester.

We will meet near Parsonage Gardens (What3Words: ///period.begun.lakes) for 10:30am to start the walk. There may be others joining too as it will hopefully be advertised on the Walking Festival website.

For those who wish to go to parkrun at Fletcher Moss beforehand, there is plenty of time. Dogs are welcome, it should be buggy friendly for bringing kids along. Please feel free to invite any other friends or family who may wish to join too.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothes and shoes. It often rains in Manchester so always be prepared.
