Merton's Community FridgeThis is our first group run and task - we hope to arrange a regular session every week if we get enough interest. For our first task we will be helping out at Merton’s Community Fridge which redistributes surplus food from local businesses and food growers, ultimately stopping tonnes of good quality food from going to waste.
The storage area is in need of a deep clean: fridges, shelves and storage boxes. There will also be some sorting, organising and other jobs depending on numbers. So this is a great task to get involved whether you are a regular or first timer.
We will meet outside The Leather Bottle for a 2-3km run there and return run back after the task. Bring a headtouch if you have one and on arrival look out for the run leader and new Area Activator, Caroline. If you prefer to make your own way there we will arrive for 7pm at the task. Merton's Community Fridge is located in Morden Baptist Church. Please come to the back entrance door which is accessible from the car park at the rear of the church (entrance on Grasmere Avenue).

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
