Help to prepare this outdoor space for spring

10:30 - 11:30The Friends of Morden Rec have got funding from the Community Fund for 1,000 spring bulbs, with the aim of getting 100 local residents involved in planting them. The Council is planting a new copse of young trees, and the bulbs will be planted around and under them, making a pleasant place for parks users to enjoy. They hope in future to fundraise for a park bench or picnic bench.
Step one is planting the bulbs on Saturday 15 November – people can plant as many or as few as they like!
If you have gardening gloves and a trowel or spade that would be helpful, but they will be providing some as well.
