CranksJoin the annual mass cycle ride from central Brighton and University of Sussex to Lewes Bonfire - A volunteer-run, sustainable transport initiative of the 'Lewes Road for Clean Air' community group.
This ride to Lewes Bonfire is organised every year since 2010 by Brighton Bike Hub, with Bike Shack (at Univ. of Sussex), as part of the Bike Train group rides project.
Assemble from 5:30pm at the Level to get ready for a - 6:00pm departure from the Level, then up the Lewes Rd - 6:20pm join from Moulsecoomb Library - 6:30pm join from University of Sussex at (Assemble from - 6:15pm at Falmer House courtyard) - 7:15/7:30pm arrival at Lewes (Lewes Prison)
Suitable for competent riders. Make sure your bike is in a roadworthy condition and has lights.
Return ride departs from Lewes Prison at midnight, to arrive back at The Level at about 1am. 11pm departure may also be organised, TBC.
