Thorn on the job
12 GoodGymers made their way 3.2km to help the Lewisham Polish Centre in Lewisham.

After a last minute cancelled task and multiple emails confirming timings and tasks, I waited in the cold outside Glass Mill thinking there was no way everyone would be here at the earlier time. The group gathered (we only couldn't find 1 person and another person went to the original task - 12/14 not bad) and we did a quick warm up before heading on our very short walk over to St Mary's school to see what Anne-Marie had in store for us.
Our tasks for the evening were to clear the brambles and dig up the roots, and also to clear the flowerbed. We set up the lights and got stuck in, a broken fork later and some very cold GoodGymers and we'd made a huge dent in the brambles and completely cleared the flowerbed.
It was a job well done and fantastic work in the cold everyone. It was also lovely to see some new faces and we'll hopefully see you at another group run soon!
