Mission

You're hired...

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

It was midway through this evening's mission that I realised every task needs a "project manager" like Ms C to manage it, as she provided me with firm, clear and decisive direction as to how she wanted the various books, files, paperwork, boxes, rolls of sellotape, old cassette tapes(!), bathroom items...etc etc, removed from her husband's bookshelves and disposed of either into sturdy black bin bags (of which she had a large roll), or another bag that we commandeered for "rubbish".

The black bagged items were then to be put into Ms C's shed outside in the back garden, which did require a few trips up and down the staircase, and which in turn dictated how many books could be put into each bag to avoid it splitting, or me falling down the stairs.

After a few journeys up and down, we'd nearly filled the shed, and Mr C's room was looking a lot more spacious (albeit not quite "empty" so perhaps there's another mission to be done here), which was what Ms C had hoped for. If Mr C needs to find anything now, it's definitely in a black bag, and no longer cluttering up his bedroom...
