29 Goodgymers ran 7km and delivered 200 flyers for Bloomsbury Foodcycle.

Wow amazing great work guys another amazing night at GoodGym Camden. We had goodgym veterans, regulars and new people alike - thanks for coming!

Tonight our task was to deliver flyers, leaflets, coupons and advertising for Bloomsbury Foodcycle.

Bloomsbury Foodcycle Hub meet every Sunday lunchtime at Somerstown Community Centre. Each week, they collect surplus fruit and veg from their local Planet Organic, and turn these ingredients into nutritious (and delicious!) three-course meals for the community.

Our objective was to spread the word!

To make sure the Camden borough was well informed of the great work the Foodcycle do we split into 3 groups led by Polly, Sophie and Becky - well done to all the team leaders!

After delivering every flyer around we all collected at Regents Park Inner Circle, for the two groups there who arrived first we did an out and back run focused around keeping the same pace, followed by a exercise routine where goodgymers took it in turn to demonstrate.

Once everyone had arrived we were ready for the first time trial of the year - a lovely 1km around the inner circle! Everyone did amazingly and really pushed themselves to improve their times and get fitter! Thanks to Polly for helping with the time keeping.

A lovely 1km time trial!

After a gentle jog back we collected together for a group picture and said see you soon to Sophie Hedges whose heading to Tanzania for 6 months work in demographics for her PHD. Sophie is a goodgym legend, she's been a member for Camden for over two and half years and also has coach. We will miss Sophie (and her brownies) tons but we all look forward to hearing all about her amazing experiences when she is back in August.

For anyone coming next Wednesday to GoodGym Camden we have two tasks with 15 people going on each, the first 15 people (or more) to arrive will need to leave at 7pm to help a Homeless Shelter (we cannot be late for this one) and then next 15 people will leave just after 7pm to help Chalk Farm Foodbank.

Thanks for coming guys, well done everyone and see you soon Sophie x
