WWF Earth Hour x Goodgym...Litterally too much
7 GoodGymers made their way 2.0km to help the OxClean in Oxford.

All together now.... (to the tune of My Favourite Things.)
Chocolate wraps, trolleys
And kid's toys discarded
Bright copper wiring and warm woollen jumpers
Blue plastic packaging thrown in the stream
These are a few of my least favourite things
Rust-coloured beer cans and crisp packs a-plenty
Hi-Fis and TVs
And trays from the takeaway
Wild toads all caught up in plastic and glass
These are a few of my least favourite things
Wet wipes thrown into the brook not the bin bag
Plastic that stays in the stream for a decade
Silvery coke tins that never degrade
These are a few of my least favourite things
When the bramble snags
When the nettle stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember that Goodgym cleaned up
And then I don't feel so bad
1 hour, 8 adults, 1 toddler, numerous bags of litter, a shopping trolley, plastic toys, glass bottles, tin cans, a credit card, a car key, clothes, plastic, plastic, plastic, plastic, plastic. Despite working really hard, we barely scratched the surface of the litter problem behind the Kassam Stadium, but at least it's 1 load of trash cleared.
Every little helps
Welcome to Local Councillor Sian, as well as Hannah, Diarmuid, and Ned who all joined us for the first time.
