Working on Sunshine, whoaoo @ Alexandra Road Community Garden whoaooo with GG friends again, yeh!
7 GoodGymers made their way to help the Alexandra Road Community Garden in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 12th of July 2020
- Led by Sheffield runner
Back again at Alexandra Road Community Garden GGrs got stuck in to tackle the overgrowth. We: * tackled bindweed and Russian vine weed * attacked the Ash (spurious Ash trees that is) * weeded the paths * removed dock plants * litter picked the garden * cut back overhanging shrubs/ trees
Highlights included: * Chatting with GG friends * 'All the world's a Sage' black and red GG ladybirds show * admiring the wildflowers blossoming * tasting mulberries
From now on we will be listing monthly community missions here, on the second Sunday of each month, please sign up in advance (as sign up spaces are limited). We hope you can join us in the future. : )
