Welcome to first timer Katarina tonight. Bonus points for making your first GG a Bank Holiday.
The evening began with a game. The best way to start Easter Monday at GoodGym. Fresh back from New Zealand, Caroline laid out 30-something cones with only five chocolate bunnies hidden beneath some of them. GO! Amazing how quickly people move when there is a prize to be had.
Then it was off to St. Luke's to fill planters with top soil: an even better game. We wheelbarrowed, shovelled, spaded and forked for a while while Frances ran off to get some double chocolate cookies from the local shop (after a little panic that we'd been locked in the garden for the night!)
It was also nice to see lots of plants, including rocket and a quince bush(tree?) growing in planters we'd previously helped put together and fill up.
A quick munch on our bics, a lovely group photo then Kike led us home where we had a nice stretch and all agreed that a four-day week was better than a five-day week (but not as good as a three-day week). And that six-hour days are better than 9-hour days. Any bosses reading this, listen up.
Here's a video about motivation recommended by Kike.
And don't forget that there is a social next week
All my love forever,
Simon
