Just beet it! After pulling up all the big pesky weeds we shared some blackberries, beets and tomatoes. Hope Vic got them home in her running rucksack without any mishaps. And John was met by wife Jackie who we were pleased to give some rosemary to for potatoes and suchlike! Now the weeds and brambles are under control, the trees and crops can thrive. And psychologically it's nicer to arrive to a tidier garden! Plus like John said, the garden is doing its little bit to help carbon in the area and give residents something green to look at. Thoroughly grateful for the excellent helpers this morning! Thank you!

We went on a walk to and along the river, then to a vegetarian cafe in Deptford
