Winter Coat (of paint)
10 GoodGymers made their way 3.0km to help the St Mary Walthamstow Churchyard in Waltham Forest.

It was a return to St Mary's for the Waltham Forest massive on Wednesday evening and on yet another cold, dark January night it was comforting to be doing another indoor task this week. After week one (prepping) and week two (coat one) we were primed and ready to hit the ground running for week three and coat two. I hope that all makes sense!
Task setter upper supremo Tim Hewitt was ready to meet us. As usual, Tim had dust sheets laid out perfectly, brushes and rollers at the ready and paint poured. This excellent preparation meant we hit the ground running like a turbocharged Kipchoge and it wasn't long before this formerly drab and yellowing hallway was as white as freshly fallen snow.
With the painting done and this section of the project finished, it was time to tidy. We had a great production line going on in the kitchen with rinsing, dunking, squeezing, rinsing again etc. all going on. With this all done and dusted, we headed back out into the night for some testing hill reps.
Unfortunatley, any calories we shed were soon regained with some birthday cupcakes back at base. Still, it was worth it.
We have some great tasks coming up in February all in the nice warm inside. We start next week at The Mill, which will also include a post-task curry as it is time for our monthly social. Latest GoodGymWF Task Force member Ruth Tucker has booked Dhaka Tandoori. If you haven't already declared your interest and you want to come along, please let me or Ruth know.
