Why do you build me up, clutter and junk?
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.
- Sunday, 1st of July 2018
On Sunday morning Jenni and I donned our GoodGym t-shirts and set off to Mr G’s for a hearty feel good mission. Jenni ran an impressive 4 miles from West Ealing (give her a big cheer!) whilst I enjoyed a leisurely jog to my most local mission yet (lazy or opportunist...)! On arrival we were met by both Mr G and his wife who explained the task ahead; to clear the living room of clutter and remove any trip hazards to ensure that both could safely enjoy the space. Jenni and I quickly set to work whilst chatting away (so much so, we forgot to take a ‘before’ shot) and soon we had sorted the clutter, paperwork and books into piles for recycling, rubbish, shredding and keeping, of course. Mr G and his wife were so grateful for our help and we left them to enjoy their newly cleared space taking the trash and recycling with us on the way out. A job well done!
