Who alkanet the cat out the bag?
4 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Lewisham.

Another gorgeous sunny morning when we arrived at The Marsha Phoenix Trust. Sue welcomed us out the front and had a brilliant board of tasks and all the tools laid out for us. We do love a board.
We split into different areas, with Julian straight into tackling the brambles at the back, Jenny doing some dead heading and weeding out the alkanet & Jacqueline and Felicity picking up the scattered palm fronds before hacking back the brambles by the shed.
With a great array of tools to choose from we got really stuck into the tasks before it was suddenly time for a quick tea break and a bramble ramble chat about exotic Victorian plants & the local history.
With a new burst of energy we gave another bramble blast and were joined by a rather handsome feline visitor who came to inspect our work. Deeming it acceptable (we think) we then took to tidying up the debris, including a cheeky spot of bin jumping.
