White cats and coconuts go out in the midday sun
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Brent.
- Thursday, 14th of May 2020
Walked out to St. Raphael’s today to collect Mr. A’s prescription, and finally drop-off some tins to a supermarket foodbank basket. They’d come from a previous Mission beneficiary way back in April… https://www.goodgym.org/reports/a-bag-for-a-bag-leaves-the-whole-world-kind
Am pleased to say the basket was overflowing with other donations, which meant delicately balancing the 10 cans on top like a game of Buckaroo.
Mr. A is well, and happy and has a high balcony to get out and get some sun and fresh air. Along the 12km walk there and back I spotted someone growing coconuts in their front garden, and two separate white cats – one friendly, one fearful.
PS: Tesco Brent Park Pharmacy opening times in the photos.
