Which way to litter pick when there's a fork in the road?
6 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help the Colchester City Council in Colchester.

We met at the The Gym on Queen street, where Helen explained that the task had changed a bit, from the one advertised, and we would be heading off into the wilds of Colchester to track down some litter instead. Sorry guys!
However, we did have shiny new, never-used-before litter pickers and hoops from CBC, so we lashed some of their special litter warrior bags to our hoops and set off after a quick warm up.
The team did a brilliant job on a circuit of Abbeyfields, expertly identifying litter from leaves, and gradually filling up two bags with all sorts of finds, including: approx. 12 masks, a pair of knickers, two socks (different ones) a hat, a glove, some laces, and an awful lot of drinks bottles.
After that, we left the bag by a litter bin, reported it to the council, as per procedures, and headed home as it was pretty chilly out there! Well done everyone, we successfully tidied up the town, and removed hazards from the undergrowth to help the wildlife.
