Weeding out the dodgy tools

Ms E is on a bit of a gardening journey. From overgrown mess to window peering joy. I believe my shift was the front garden follow up. Breaking down and bagging the branches of a cut down tree then weeding the entire front paved garden. It basically meant a certain amount of snipping and sawing then a lot of scraping and attacking large weeds - with a shiny, brand new trowel. Full disclosure, the trowel handle detached before the end. I carried on. When handing the expired tool back I apologised and said it’s never happened to me before, and offered to buy another one for about 12 quid or whatever. Ms E chuckled.
