Weed almost mist them, but we were on the same path
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.

Here's what Mr M of TW14 had to say about the mission:
Spoke to Dr D's daughter who said that they 'really appreciated' the help and were both really happy with the work the runners did. Thanks a lot!
Luis and Remy arrived for their mission to help Mr M with his garden at 10:30, but there was no answer at the door. After a long while, they decided to go for a 5k run in the nearby park to help Luis stick to his half marathon training plan.
Coincidentally, just as we finished the 5k, we ran into Mr M and his carer in the park. They were still keen to have some gardening done, so we walked him home and got to work.
The priority was clearing a path and so that Mr M could walk to the door easily and without any trip hazards. His carer said that for a hundred-year-old he still has a very active mind and body, and we saw that in action on the walk to his home!
We weeded, trimmed a hedge, cut back plants, raked, and swept so to make a safe path for Mr M, briefly dodging into the doorway when there was a sudden downpour that quickly turned into sunny mist.
We were glad that we were able to do the mission after all and get a run in.

Amazing run and mission! Well done both of you!
Great commitment to the task and running! It's a good thing you stuck around rather than raking out when there was no one around!
A pretty odd start to a mission but glad that it all went well, looks like you both did a great job! :)
