We weren't out-foxed or tied in Knots but weed really prefer not to come back next year!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 9th of June 2019
After a quick hello to Mrs S and her daughter, Africa and Karen set about tackling a very knotty problem of a Japanese variety. Not to be out-foxed, the GoodGymer's began untangling the pesky Knotweed which had once again run amok in Mrs S's back garden.
Forewarned by Mrs S's daughter, the GG'ers were not the least surprised to witness one little fox cub make its escape by scampering over the fence stopping to give us a rueful stare before disappearing into next doors garden. Sorry Mr fox and family... we're sure you will find another cosy home soon but Mrs S would prefer it's not in her garden ;-)
After an hour and a half of sweaty toil and 16 bags of now tamed knotweed later, super-team Africa and Karen high-fived on a job very well done. They bade their farewells after Africa had imparted some of her expert gardening wisdom on how to get to the root of the problem so Mrs S can enjoy her garden in peace for years to come!
