Another Wet Wednesday - Brockhill to the rescue.
Another Wet Wednesday and another week of no allotment digging. So luckily Brockhill had many more jobs up their sleeve and invited us last minute for some more painting and decorating. It was nice to see some new faces this week, we welcomed Rianna and Joseph for their first Woking GoodGym experience.
After the introductions and a brief of what task involves we headed off down the canal for a steady 3km to our task.
We were welcomed by the regular residents who gave us our jobs for the night. This week we head the task of painting window and door frames with the undercoat/primer ready for their new look of a bright white instead of a dark dated brown.
7 Park Runs in 1 Day!!
Whilst painting we got to know our new members and hear about what everyone has been up to over the Easter bank holidays, with Barbara and George once again putting us to shame by completing 7 different Park Runs in one day - yes 7!!! We welcomed back Anne from her holidays and we also would like to wish Wayne a big Good luck for his Spartan race this weekend.
We look forward to seeing you next week for a new group run task at the Beaufort - sign up now and enjoy the rest of your week.
