This weeks task was surely a goodgym first – kneeding pizza dough for a summer fayre!

We met at the GoodGym with the weather not quite deciding what to do. After a quick introduction we set off to run up the hill back to Golden Hill Allotments for this weeks task. It’s a longer run than usual, and uphill all the way. The group did really well and we stuck together all the way there.

Once at the allotments our task was to help them get ready for their open day. We split into a few different groups and stuck into the tasks including kneeding lots of dough for pizza, moving all of the plants into position for the plant sale, and pulling up lots of weeds on the walkway. By the time we finished the whole site looked great and just about ready to open, and all of the volunteers from the allotment were really happy with how it all looked.

We stretched our legs on the way back down the hill to Roll for the Soul where we finished with a good warm down. Great to see lots of regulars and some new faces too.
