We Mossn't Race at Snail Pace
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Haringey.
- Saturday, 8th of June 2019
After a successful park run in the morning, Kapil and Rebecca met up for a second Good Gym session in the afternoon to help Mrs A with her front garden.
Mrs A is no longer able to maintain her garden by herself so the pair were there to lend several hands. The first task was pulling up the weeds that had sprouted in gaps in the pavement and in the flower beds. Several snails were discovered nestled in fallen leaves and carefully laid aside.
Once all the weeds were bagged up, Kapil and Rebecca tackled the moss. It took a fair bit of scraping but soon it was loose enough to sweep up and add to the pile of weeds.
Mrs A was very pleased with her finished front lawn. The end results even attracted a fellow Good Gymer passing by. All in all a successful Saturday afternoon well spent!
